RETIRED CAST OF CHARACTERS...

A lot has happened since the time I started writing "Only If..." and many of the individuals that were once included this blog have either fallen down elevator shafts (FRIENDS reference, I will do that a lot) or have simply left my life and no longer need to be included. As such, this list of people is simply to be used for reference when reading older posts. Disregard any importance of this list in any relevant postings, or really at all. Instead, let's pretend this is one of those really fast recaps at the beginning of your favorite sitcom. Last season on "Only If..." our cast of characters consisted of the following celebrity appearances:

Mr. Soulmate: Read the name. I don't believe in soul mates, but I sure have run into this person quite a bit in the past two years. They are the most wonderful person I have never really had a conversation with. Consensus: he's actually gay. Oh, well...

Stud Muffin: The guy I am pretty much in love with, but the one guy I can never truly have. It's like a dog chasing it's tail... even if the dog caught it, they wouldn't know what to do with it. He is the most attractive and outgoing guy I have ever had a crush on (and knew in person). He's very charming with the ladies. He's now in a long-term relationship with a girl who must have been a "game changer" for him. Or maybe he just grew up and realized he couldn't try and play the field forever. There may be cutesy engagement-looking pictures of the two of them posted everywhere online now, but I'll give it some time before he cheats.

Malcolm: The guy I had for a split second and lost in error (due to Bro), but still secretly want. FYI: his real name is not Malcolm. I call him that simply because he resembles Frankie Muniz from Malcolm in the Middle (who ironically I had a crush on as a child). He graduated from college and is now a mechanical engineer making big money like a real adult.

Dario: My best guy friend... who happened to date someone I used to be friends with. Because of that, he's seriously JUST my friend (with the exception of one time). All you need to know is that he's a great guy friend who always makes my day. And that he's an awesome guitarist. Stood me up for lunch one day and then we all of a sudden stopped talking...

Billiam: My other best guy friend. He recently moved and I am very upset. I no longer have anyone to watch 6 hours straight of HOUSE and FRIENDS with. Damn. He moved. Other than texting each other how much we miss one another, there is no real communication going on between us anymore.

Bee: My ex-boyfriend of about 2 years, 6 months (give or take... long story). He's in the military now, decided to get engaged 2 months after we officially ended things (because that's not a blow to one's self-esteem). He might still love me, but we're just friends now. Still engaged, but we really aren't speaking anymore. Do drunk dials count?

Leona: My former Freshman year roommate. The most perfect girl you will ever meet. Once again, Leona is a nickname. It was what came up when you typed her name in T9 on text. We have lunch together on occasion. I saw her once before she graduated, but haven't seen her since. Simply, we lost touch.

Cat: Nickname for my Sophomore year roommate who loves animals (namely horses). We formed the kickass music group informally named Room 511C... kinda. Basically, she'd play guitar and sing, and I'd play the piano or strum along too. I'd like to thank her for teaching me how to harmonize. Other than meeting up for occasional lunches, we really don't see each other that often anymore. She's been super busy with work and school and trying to socialize has become a bit difficult...

JC: Friend in my house... obsessed with anything and everything related to college sports.

KC/SE/Ketchup: My Junior year roommates... KC and JC are now BFF in the house and will be rooming with SE next year, while Ketchup is moving out. I was supposed to room with them until something happened. Now we still talk, but not really all that often as I'm basically always out with the Music Crew (see People I Will Reference list). Of course, if I ever want to just sit at home studying or watching a movie on a Friday night in college, they're still my girls.
